Snake in the Garden

I was surprised to see this snake making a path through my liatris spicata the other day since the weather has been so cool. It's some harmless rat or corn snake, with coloring similar to a copperhead, but without the spade-shaped head. Maybe it'll help keep the rodent population in check.
